The semi-trailer low bed is a type of transportation equipment widely used in logistics, engineering construction and other fields. The correct use of the semi-trailer low bed can not only ensure transportation safety, but also improve work efficiency and extend the service life of the equipment.
Appearance inspection: Carefully check whether the semi-trailer body has obvious deformation and cracks. Focus on checking the frame, suspension device and tires. If the frame is deformed, it may affect the driving stability of the vehicle; if there is a problem with the suspension device, it will cause the vehicle to bump abnormally and affect the safety of cargo transportation; for tires, check whether the tire pressure is normal and whether the tread has wear, cuts, bulges, etc. If the tire is found to be severely worn, it should be replaced in time to prevent dangerous situations such as tire blowouts.
Brake system inspection: The brake system is the key to vehicle safety. Check whether the brake oil level is within the normal range. Too low may cause a decrease in braking effect. At the same time, check the thickness of the brake pads. Excessive wear of the brake pads will affect the braking performance. Also test the sensitivity of the brake system. By pressing the brake pedal, feel the response speed and strength of the brake to ensure that the brake system can work properly.
Electrical system inspection: Check whether the lighting system of the semi-trailer, including the headlights, turn signals, brake lights, etc., is normally lit. These lights play an important warning role during driving. If any lights are not on, it may cause traffic accidents. In addition, check whether the circuit connection of the vehicle is firm, whether there is looseness, short circuit, etc., to ensure the stable operation of the electrical system.
Cargo planning: According to the size and carrying capacity of the semi-trailer, reasonably plan the loading position and method of the cargo. For irregularly shaped cargo, consider how to place it so that the center of gravity of the vehicle is evenly distributed to avoid the vehicle rolling over due to the center of gravity shift during driving. For example, for longer cargo, try to place it along the longitudinal center axis of the vehicle; for heavier cargo, place it near the center of gravity of the vehicle.
Fixed equipment preparation: Prepare suitable cargo fixing equipment, such as wire rope, chain, fastening belt, etc. Different cargo requires different fixing methods and equipment. For large mechanical equipment, it may be necessary to use wire ropes and chains for fixing; for some lighter goods, fastening belts can be used for tying. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure that the fixing equipment is strong enough to withstand the various forces that the goods are subjected to during the driving of the semi-trailer.
