Luyi Factory: Responding to the Needs of the Nigerian Market with Quality and Customized Solutions

As an important logistics hub in West Africa, Nigeria has a strong demand for mineral and agricultural product transportation. However, the complex road conditions place extremely high requirements on the durability and load-bearing capacity of transportation equipment. Through preliminary market research, Luyi Factory found that local customers are in urgent need of dump equipment that can adapt to unpaved roads and flexibly adjust load configurations, so the 3-axle rear-tipping dump semi-trailer was included in the key R&D list. Targeting Nigeria’s tropical climate and sloping road conditions, Luyi Factory’s technical team specially optimized the suspension system and braking structure of the 3-axle rear-tipping dump semi-trailer, used corrosion-resistant steel to build the carriage, and matched it with 16-ton FUWA axles to enhance load-bearing capacity, enabling the product to cope with local transportation challenges with ease.


Last month, a delegation of Nigerian customers made a special trip to Luyi Factory to conduct an on-site inspection of the entire production process of the 3-axle rear-tipping dump semi-trailer. In the intelligent welding workshop, the customers saw robotic arms performing precision welding on the frame of the 3-axle rear-tipping dump semi-trailer, with the weld flatness error controlled within 0.5 mm. In the quality inspection area, the staff conducted a 12-hour full-load tightness test on the 3-axle rear-tipping dump semi-trailer to ensure no leakage in the hydraulic lifting system. The customer representatives proposed on-site that they hoped to adjust the carriage length from 8 meters to 9.5 meters and add side-opening discharge doors. The technical personnel of Luyi Factory immediately came up with a modification plan, realizing the customized demand through modular design, which made the customers more satisfied with the adaptability of the 3-axle rear-tipping dump semi-trailer.

To further fit the actual application scenarios of the Nigerian market, Luyi Factory has also equipped the 3-axle rear-tipping dump semi-trailer with explosion-proof fuel tanks and high-temperature resistant tires. At the same time, the factory has optimized the hydraulic lifting speed, shortening the unloading time to less than 40 seconds. In response to the problem of few local after-sales outlets, Luyi Factory has equipped each 3-axle rear-tipping dump semi-trailer with a toolbox of vulnerable parts and trained professional technicians to provide remote fault diagnosis services. Currently, the first batch of customized 3-axle rear-tipping dump semi-trailers has been produced and will be shipped to Lagos Port, Nigeria via the port, with subsequent orders also advancing steadily.
