Focusing on logistics upgrading needs: LUYI negotiates semi-trailer cooperation with Nigerian delegation

Recently, a delegation of Nigerian clients visited the factory of Shandong LUYI Vehicle Co., Ltd. (LUYI). The two parties held special negotiations on semi-trailer cooperation, with the localization adaptation and bulk supply of 3-axle rear-tip dump trailers becoming the core topic, injecting new vitality into Nigeria's logistics upgrading. As a manufacturer with more than 20 years of experience in the semi-trailer field, LUYI participated in the meeting with a full-process technical team, systematically disassembling the performance advantages of 3-axle rear-tip dump trailers under complex working conditions, and accurately addressing the pain points of Nigeria's transportation market.

During the exchange, the Nigerian delegation clearly stated that local mineral transportation and infrastructure projects have an urgent demand for dump semi-trailers. However, the status quo of tropical rainy climate and high proportion of unpaved roads puts strict requirements on vehicle load-bearing strength and anti-corrosion performance. In response, LUYI's technical director demonstrated the customized solution for 3-axle rear-tip dump trailers on site: the model adopts Q960 high-strength steel to build the frame, and is equipped with a reinforced hydraulic lifting system. The single load capacity is 15% higher than that of conventional models, which is fully suitable for Nigeria's heavy-duty transportation scenarios; at the same time, the whole vehicle adopts KTL full-immersion electrophoretic process, and the anti-corrosion life can reach more than 8 years, effectively resisting the erosion of tropical humid environment.

To allow the Nigerian delegation to intuitively feel the product strength, LUYI specially arranged a field demonstration of 3-axle rear-tip dump trailers. In the test on simulated potholed roads, the multi-leaf spring suspension system of the model effectively buffered bumps. The rear-tip unloading angle reached 58 degrees, the unloading speed was 20% faster than that of traditional models, and the unloading residue was less than 0.5%, winning unanimous recognition from the delegation. The head of the Nigerian delegation said: "LUYI's 3-axle rear-tip dump trailers not only solve our core needs for heavy load and anti-corrosion, but also the fast unloading design can greatly improve transportation efficiency, which fully meets the actual needs of Nigeria's logistics upgrading."

During the negotiations, the two parties also reached a consensus on the localized service system for 3-axle rear-tip dump trailers. LUYI promised to set up 3 service stations in major logistics hub cities in Nigeria, equipped with professional maintenance personnel and spare parts warehouses, to ensure that the vehicle fault response time does not exceed 4 hours; at the same time, LUYI will provide special training on operation and maintenance of 3-axle rear-tip dump trailers for Nigerian drivers, improving the local personnel's ability to operate the vehicles. In addition, in response to the transportation needs derived from Nigeria's oil industry, LUYI also promoted the adapted oil tank semi-trailer program. However, the two parties agreed that 3-axle rear-tip dump trailers, as the most urgently needed models at present, will be prioritized in the first batch of cooperation lists.

The general manager of LUYI said: "Nigeria is a core market for logistics upgrading in Africa, and the technical characteristics of 3-axle rear-tip dump trailers are highly consistent with local needs. The in-depth negotiations with the Nigerian delegation this time not only lay the foundation for cooperation between the two parties, but also demonstrate the technical strength of Chinese semi-trailer manufacturers." At present, the two parties have initially finalized the parameters of the first batch of orders for 3-axle rear-tip dump trailers, and plan to start prototype production and testing next month. Later, the supply scale will be gradually expanded according to market feedback, helping Nigeria build an efficient and durable logistics and transportation system.
