Recently, a delegation led by Mr. Mikhail, a senior logistics entrepreneur from Armenia, made a special trip to Luyi Special Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Luyi") for a three-day on-site inspection and cooperation negotiations. Mr. Zhang Jianguo, General Manager of Luyi, accompanied the delegation throughout the visit with the core team. Both parties conducted in-depth exchanges on the technological upgrading, production capacity guarantee and overseas market layout of tank semi-trailers, dump trucks and other special vehicles, laying a solid foundation for long-term strategic cooperation in the future.
At the start of the inspection, Mr. Mikhail and his entourage first visited Luyi’s intelligent production workshop. Next to the automated welding production line, Engineer Li, Technical Director of Luyi, elaborated on the production process of tank semi-trailers in detail. “Our tank semi-trailers are made of high-strength wear-resistant steel and undergo six flaw detection procedures, achieving a 100% weld qualification rate. They fully comply with the European ECE R110 safety standard, which is our core competitive edge customized for the Central and West Asian markets,” Engineer Li explained. Mr. Mikhail paused frequently to take notes, measured the tank thickness of tank semi-trailers with professional instruments, and expressed his recognition of Luyi’s strict quality control system. “Logistics and transportation in Armenia and neighboring countries have extremely high safety requirements for tank semi-trailers, and Luyi’s production standards give us full confidence,” he said.
In the product exhibition area, the Luyi team focused on promoting the dump truck series optimized for overseas markets. This model of dump truck is equipped with an imported hydraulic lifting system, which only takes 18 seconds to lift—30% more efficient than traditional models. Meanwhile, it adopts a lightweight design that effectively reduces fuel consumption while ensuring load-bearing capacity. Mr. Mikhail watched the lifting demonstration of the dump truck on site, personally boarded the cab to experience the handling feel, and spoke highly of the dump truck’s intelligent control panel and user-friendly design. “Mining transportation scenarios in our region are complex, and the durability and operational convenience of this dump truck perfectly meet market demands,” he commented. Later, both sides discussed the customized needs of dump trucks. Mr. Mikhail put forward suggestions on optimizing the shock absorption system for Armenia’s mountainous road conditions, and the Luyi technical team immediately stated that a special task force would be set up to promote the implementation of the plan.
On the second day, the two sides held a cooperation negotiation meeting in Luyi’s conference room. Manager Wang, Sales Director of Luyi, introduced the company’s overseas market layout plan. “At present, Luyi’s flatbed semi-trailers have been exported to 12 countries including Russia and Kazakhstan. Driven by modular design and fast maintenance services, our market share has been increasing year by year,” Manager Wang said. He emphasized that flatbed semi-trailers can be customized in terms of length, load capacity and other parameters according to customer needs, adapting to various transportation scenarios such as containers and large-scale equipment. Combining the current situation of Armenia’s logistics market, Mr. Mikhail responded, “As a transportation hub in Central Asia, Armenia’s demand for flatbed semi-trailers grows by 20% annually. However, local vehicles rely heavily on imports, and Luyi’s products have strong competitiveness in terms of cost performance and delivery cycle.” At the meeting, the two sides initially reached a procurement intention of 50 special vehicles, covering three categories: tank semi-trailers, dump trucks and flatbed semi-trailers.
To enable the clients to fully understand Luyi’s service capabilities, the Luyi team led Mr. Mikhail and his party to visit the company’s after-sales service center and spare parts warehouse. In the after-sales service center, the staff demonstrated the remote fault diagnosis system. “Even if tank semi-trailers encounter problems in Armenia, our technicians can conduct remote troubleshooting through this system and realize 24-hour fast maintenance with the support of local cooperative service outlets,” the staff explained. The neatly stacked core spare parts of dump trucks and flatbed semi-trailers in the warehouse reassured Mr. Mikhail greatly. “A sound spare parts reserve is the key to ensuring smooth transportation, and Luyi’s service system has eliminated all our concerns,” he said. During the inspection, Mr. Mikhail also communicated with Luyi’s frontline technical workers, asked detailed questions about the vehicle production process, and highly praised the workers’ professional competence.
At the end of the inspection, the two sides held a signing ceremony for the cooperation memorandum. Mr. Zhang Jianguo, General Manager of Luyi, stated at the ceremony, “Cooperation with Armenian clients is an important milestone for Luyi to expand into the Central Asian market. We will take this cooperation as an opportunity to continuously optimize the product performance of tank semi-trailers, dump trucks and flatbed semi-trailers according to local market needs, and provide more practical transportation solutions.” Mr. Mikhail also expressed his vision for long-term cooperation. “Luyi’s product quality and service philosophy have filled us with confidence. We look forward to working hand in hand with Luyi to jointly tap into the huge potential of the Central Asian market and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results,” he said.
This visit by Armenian clients has not only brought new order opportunities to Luyi, but also enabled Luyi to gain an in-depth understanding of the demand characteristics of the special vehicle market in Central Asia. In the future, Luyi will continue to focus on the overseas market, take high-quality tank semi-trailers, dump trucks and flatbed semi-trailers as the link, strengthen cooperation with countries along the “Belt and Road”, continuously expand the new blueprint of the overseas market, and establish a good image of Chinese brands in the global special automobile industry.
