Last week, Shandong Luyi Automobile Jining Factory welcomed an important customer from Tanzania. During the two-day field visit, the customer focused on observing the production line of the three-axle flatbed semi-trailer, and held multiple rounds of consultations with the sales team on details such as vehicle parameters, price plan and delivery cycle.
We need a multi-functional vehicle that can handle both container and bulk cargo transportation. The load-bearing design of Luyi's product just solves our pain point. The customer said after learning about the sample vehicle. It is reported that the purchased vehicle will be used for cross-border logistics routes from Tanzania to neighboring countries, and the road conditions along the way are complex and changeable.

In the assembly workshop, customers focused on the operation demonstration of the container rotation lock device. "This quick locking mechanism is very practical. Our loading and unloading workers can complete the container fixing in 90 seconds after training." Luyi's technical director explained on the spot.
The signing marks another breakthrough for Luyi Automobile in the East African market. According to the Ministry of International Trade, 12 localized improvements have been made to the models for the African market, including the installation of dust-proof heat dissipation systems and rubber parts for sunlight aging tests. The company plans to set up an after-sales service center in Tanzania in the second half of the year to provide customers with more convenient technical support.
Subsequent actions:
Luyi Automobile will organize Tanzanian customers to participate in operation and maintenance training next month, and the first batch of vehicles is expected to be delivered through the Port of Dar es Salaam in August. The company is following up with agents in three other African countries and is expected to achieve the goal of a 30% year-on-year increase in exports this year.
